1. First, turn off the iPhone 4. Insert the SIM card along with the Gevey SIM adapter under it inside the iPhone 4.
2. Next turn on your device. After the phone powers up, slide to unlock and wait. A message will appear giving you the option to “Cancel” or “Accept”. Select “Cancel”.
3. Select “Settings” and scroll down to select “Phone” Scroll down again and select “SIM Applications” Click on “Instructions” and follow them. This time you will click on “Accept” when given the option to “Cancel” or “Accept”.(Described in steps 4-7)
4. Return to home screen and wait for the phone to show only one bar of signal strength, without a carrier name.
5. Open the “Phone” application. Dial “112” and end the call 2 seconds after you click “Send”.
6. Go back to the “Settings” screen. Turn on “Airplane Mode” and wait until “No SIM” message appears.
7. Deactivate “Airplane Mode” and click “Ok” on any additional messages that appear. After that just wait. Eventually the phone will show one bar signal strength, then three bars and finally your carrier should be displayed. If you see a failure message you did something wrong and must repeat the process. Be certain to select “Cancel” in step #2. Clicking on “Accept” is intuitive but will disable the SIM adapters unlocking capability.

Please note that these iPhone unlock instructions apply only to the Gevey SIM card adapters which were purchased prior to 06/25/11.

Your new micro SIM must be trimmed in order to accommodate the Gevey chip. Gevey sim instructions must be followed precisely and expediently. Pauses during the procedure may interrupt the programming process.
1. First, turn off the iPhone 4. Insert the SIM card along with the Gevey SIM adapter under it inside the iPhone 4.
2. Next turn on your device. After the phone powers up, slide to unlock and wait. A message will appear in a foreign language. Select “Accept”. Wait for the phone to show only one bar of signal strength, without a carrier name.
3. From the home screen, open the “Phone” application. Call “112” and end the call 2 seconds after you click “Send”.
4. Click the home button and open the “Settings” application. Turn on “Airplane Mode” and then turn it back off immediately. The phone will say “Sim Failure.” This is normal.
5. Continue clicking “Airplane Mode” on and off until it says “No SIM Card Installed.” This may take around 2-100 clicks, just be patient. Once it says “No SIM Card Installed,” wait for signal.
(NOTE: You may have to click Airplane Mode on and off one more time if it doesn”?t switch from “No SIM,” in the carrier area, to 1 bar).
Once it says T-Mobile, or whatever carrier you are trying to use, you are good to go!
